As an animal lover, a kind-hearted woman in Kansas was more than happy to open up her house to what she believed was a homeless cat. When her grandson, Eric Hertlein, encountered the animal, however, he began to have his suspicions about it. And, in time, he would discover the creature’s shocking true identity.

It’s fair to say, though, that Hertlein’s grandma just loved cats. What’s more, she couldn’t bear to see kitties out on the street; and as a consequence, she’d often let strays from the neighborhood into her home in order to give them food and shelter.

The woman enjoyed hosting homeless cats so much, in fact, that she’d even converted her porch into a makeshift cattery, filling it with beds and food. And she consequently had a steady stream of feline visitors that were free to come and go as they pleased.
