Indeed, Canisius College now boasts over 30 buildings on its campus. Thankfully for Sipowicz, he became a student there after the institution accepted his application. Despite that success, though, the Buffalo native had another dream that he wanted to realize.

Alongside his passion for baseball, Sipowicz also had another dream. He wanted to own a Ford Mustang, a vehicle he had fantasized about as a kid. Ahead of his college move, the student wanted to buy a car for himself, which caught the attention of his dad John.

At that point, Sipowicz’s father made him an intriguing deal. John said he would help pay for the car if the student’s tuition fees ate up most of his scholarship funds. However, not even his son could’ve predicted what happened next.
