For married couples, there are few bigger occasions than their wedding anniversaries. Lisa Vanderpump can certainly attest to that, as in August 2018 she celebrated 36 years of marriage with her husband, Ken Todd. When reflecting on their time together, however, the reality star also spoke about their first meeting.
Born in September 1960, Vanderpump grew up in London, England, with dreams of becoming an actress. So when she was nine years old, she joined a drama school on a full-time basis and then made her acting debut in 1973.
In fact, Vanderpump made an uncredited appearance in the romantic comedy A Touch of Class, starring George Segal and Glenda Jackson. The film went on to make over $18 million at the domestic box office and also earned a number of nominations at various awards shows. The most notable win actually came at the 1974 Academy Awards, with Glenda picking up the Best Actress gong.
