Remember the Titans followed the real-life tale of an African-American football coach as he tried to integrate a high school team back in the early ’70s, and it grossed more than four times its modest $30m budget at the box office at the turn of the century. But how have its principal cast fared since its success?

20. Denzel Washington (Herman Boone)

Denzel Washington was already a megastar at the time of the film’s 2000 release, and he has gone on to even greater things since playing revolutionary coach Herman Boone. There’s been a Best Actor Oscar for Training Day, a Tony Award for his performance in Fences and not just one but three acclaimed directorial efforts.
