Zany power-pop band OK Go are renowned for their groundbreaking, inventive and downright crazy music videos. But the Chicago-based quartet reached dizzying new heights – quite literally – during their shoot for “Upside Down & Inside Out,” which was released as a single in February 2016.

The fun-loving foursome have come a long way since their Grammy-award-winning video for 2009’s “Here It Goes Again,” which saw the band dance in sync in low-budget fashion on four treadmills. Fast forward seven years and the stakes have truly been raised by front man Damian Kulash and his video director sister Trish Sie.

The beginning of the “Upside Down & Inside Out” video literally spells out how it’s the real deal. There are no elaborate tricks or CGI copouts here – just the band and a couple of extras shooting a music video in the most unlikely of circumstances.
