Few TV shows have had the same longevity and quality as Law & Order. And the drama seemingly effortlessly explored the criminal justice system in a subtle yet effective way  – something that, to this day, makes it one of the best legal and police procedurals of its kind. But while fans may know the characters inside out, they may not be aware of what many of the cast got up to following the series finale in 2010. So here’s what the stars of Law & Order have been up to since they served up 20 seasons of justice.

20. Chris Noth (Mike Logan)

As one of the most prominent fixtures on the show, Chris Noth spent five years playing the sometimes volatile Mike Logan. Since being fired in 1995, though, the actor went on to play successful roles in Sex and the City and The Good Wife – proving all the while that there’s plenty of stamina in this stern detective.

19. Carey Lowell (Jamie Ross)

Law & Order fans know Carey Lowell for her performance as the strong-willed attorney Jamie Ross, but some might not be aware of much of her work since. That’s because the risk-taking actress decided to drop her acting career in pursuit of a career in filmmaking, as well as to take care of her children. And in October of 2016 she finalized a divorce settlement with her husband of 14 years: Richard Gere.
