Little People, Big World has been one of TLC’s most popular shows since its 2006 premiere. Not all its stars have been keen to stay in the spotlight, though, with daughter Molly choosing to live quietly. However, for a happy reason, the 24-year-old recently found herself in the headlines.
The heads of the Roloff family were both born with dwarfism. Indeed, Matt had to undergo 15 operations in his childhood due to his degenerative condition, diastrophic dysplasia, while Amy was born with achondroplasia. The pair first met in 1987 at the Little People of America convention and married just months later.
In 1990 Matt and Amy purchased a farmhouse that they renovated to create the now famous Roloff Farm. That same year the couple welcomed twins Zachary and Jeremy into the world, with Molly arriving in 1993 and Jacob in 1997. Only Zachary was born with dwarfism, with his siblings all around average.
