20. She faced unfair discrimination when applying for university

Discrimination is rife, and poor Jen Arnold found this out firsthand when applying for university. She was apparently “grilled” over her height at her University of Miami interview, the interviewer having issues with the TV star’s dwarfism. Thankfully, she got in at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and hasn’t looked back since.

19. Her husband gets addressed incorrectly

Arnold’s husband Bill Klein sometimes gets addressed by his wife’s surname. Speaking to Huffington Post in 2011, he said, “I was at Restoration Hardware and the lady came up and said, ‘Oh my God, I was hoping I’d meet you guys, it’s very nice to meet you Bill Arnold.” Luckily, the good-natured father of two has a sense of humor, and actually doesn’t mind being called by his spouse’s surname.
