Sam Fogell, a.k.a McLovin, was probably the most memorable character in Superbad, Judd Apatow’s comedic coming-of-age story about a booze run gone horribly wrong. And yet, despite this, actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. As it turns out, however, there’s a very good reason for that (he’s still alive, don’t worry). But to understand it, we have to go back to the very start.
As is often the way, Mintz-Plasse cut his acting teeth at school, performing as part of an improv group at his high school in California. And quite bizarrely for someone who is now known for playing dorky characters, Mintz-Plasse was actually also a keen sportsman as a student.
